Standing Tall

from Until We Meet Again by Kaz Hawkins

/

about

I wanted to release this song on my 50th birthday to begin a year of celebration of making it this far in life. Choosing Standing Tall as the first song from my new album is me letting go of the pain of my past now that I have found my peace in France. It is also the perfect time to stand with women all over the world who have experienced violence. This song is about my own experience living with domestic violence so it is my hope that it reaches those who need to hear that there is hope in breaking free from the chains of control but also to educate, inform and continue my own personal campaign to use music to highlight social issues.
